Communication is key to having expectations understood and met. I have experience in developing staff, student, and parent handbooks to confirm that expectations are realized. In addition, I have implemented strategies for requiring students to accept responsibly for off-task behaviors for movement toward self-improvement and self-awareness.

Establishing and maintaining a culture of calm is paramount. While negative behaviors must be addressed, recognition of positive behaviors is also valued. I have experience in formalizing low-cost, high-impact ideas for students and staff that contribute to establishing a positive school environment.
